How do we do this?

In partnership withTreeApp, Cedar pledges to donate £1 from every single order.

TreeApp works with NGO'S planting trees all over the world. There are a number of organisations out there that offer planting as means of mitigating the effects of climate change. However, despite usually having good intentions they don't all take biodiversity into consideration, creating monocultures and solutions that do more damage than good.

In contrast, TreeApp employ a strict criteria that ensures the success of all their replanting scemes.

Who are Tree App?

TreeApp are a small startup with big goals.

They want to improve the world we live in by enabling people to plant one tree for free, everyday, with minimal effort, by helping organisations spread the word about sustainable products and services.

They've got big ambitions and want to plant one million trees every single day by 2022.

To do this, in April 2020, they launched an app in which users can plant a tree, for free, every single day.

As well as planting a tree when you order with us, you can plant a tree everyday with the their app, TreeApp.

Why plant trees?

As much as 80% of the world's forests have been destroyed or irreparably degraded.

The price for this destruction is escalating climate change, biodiversity loss and community displacement.

The impact of deforestation on wildlife is huge too. Up to Up to 28,000 species are expected to become extinct by the next quarter of the century due to deforestation.
